Growing up as a child of Nigerian immigrants, Dr. Adesina knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in medicine. After graduating with honors from Xavier University of Louisiana with his undergraduate degree, he went on to earn his medical degree from The University of
Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine.
Dr. Adesina then completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center Dallas, where he excelled as both chief resident and fellow.
Driven by a deep-rooted commitment to making a difference, Dr. Adesina, combines clinical expertise with a natural flair for public speaking to deliver engaging and
